The instrument will be a fully automated chromatography system applicable for biopharmaceutical production. The main key feature of the multi-column chromatography technology is the use of a series of interconnected columns allowing the first column to reach breakthrough during loading which significantly improves the utilisation of the chromatographic resin or membrane. A typical application of the technology is for capture chromatography however it is not limited to it.
