Treatment involves pre, intra and post-surgical and/or adjunctive treatment, for example, with radiotherapy or chemotherapy. Treatment of these patients could involve provision of fixed or removable prostheses on teeth or dental implants either conforming to the current occlusion or at an increased vertical dimension of occlusion.
