The community smoking cessation service will deliver evidence-based services for adult smokers who live or are registered with a GP practice in Wolverhampton. In the community, the service will provide information, advice, and guidance; self-help tools; and lifestyle interventions to enable Service Users to achieve and maintain positive lifestyle changes. The aim of this service is to: •Enable individuals to make changes in their behaviour to achieve a positive impact on their health. •Reduce the number of smokers by providing evidence-based treatment and behavioural support to smokers making quit attempts. •Reduce levels of smoking related illness, disability, premature death and health equalities.
